Under the Corporate Income Tax Agency Act 2024 (‘CIT Act’), the Board of Directors is responsible for managing the affairs and business of the Agency, as well as overseeing the administration of the CIT Act and Agency’s strategic direction.
The Board consists of one Executive Director and seven Non-Executive Directors, appointed by the Minister of Finance from the various sectors of industry. To enhance independence, Board members are appointed for three-year terms. Board conflicts are strictly managed in accordance with the CIT Act.
One of the Non-Executive Directors is appointed as Non-Executive Chairman. Additionally, the Board appoints a Non-Executive Director as Chairman for each Board Committee.
